The Federation of Athleticism and Bodybuilding of Latvia established the following standards for the title of “Master of Sports” (MS) and “Candidate for Master of Sports” (CMS) for the classic bench press (without equipment):

Сlassification standard “Master of sports” and “Candidate master of sports” can be performed at the championship of Latvia (held in June), or during the Cup of Latvia (held in December).
